Salesforce is introducing Einstein Vision for Social Studio, delivering AI-powered image recognition directly within Marketing Cloud’s social media marketing solution. Now, marketers can automate the discovery and identification of images, and respond appropriately. By understanding the photos that consumers post, marketers are empowered to reach customers even when they have not specifically mentioned a brand, product or service by name.
With Einstein Vision for Social Studio, marketers can uncover images relevant to their brand through four types of image libraries, including two million brand logos, 60 scenes, 200 foods and 1,000 objects.
“Einstein Vision for Social Studio is an exciting new foray for us. It will enable DEG and our clients to harness the power of AI to view how people are interacting with brands through images on Twitter, and it will allow us to improve our efforts—from social listening, marketing promotions, ad targeting, customer service and more” said Jen Forrest, Director of Social Media at DEG, a full service digital agency.
“Those companies that adopt new, innovative and integrated social media solutions will be better prepared to keep up with the constant innovations in social media and consumer engagement scenarios as they emerge” said Ed Terpening, Industry Analyst at Altimeter, a Prophet Company.
Social Studio leverages the power of Einstein Vision, which allows developers of any skill level to use two powerful APIs to build AI-powered apps and bring image recognition to CRM. The first API, Einstein Image Classification, powers image recognition use cases including visual search, brand detection and product identification. The second API, Einstein Object Detection, recognizes objects within images and detects types and quantities of the objects at scale.
