‘Hackers love unsecured printers’— The HP Hole-in-one Print Security event, held in association with Enterprise Channels MEA at the Almouj Golf Course in Muscat on 31st January engaged high level IT decision makers from the leading government and private sectors in the Sultanate of Oman in this conversation.
Most organizations today are not as safe as they think. Data breaches by hackers through new age threats, like phishing, are a challenge that demands more security. HP’s Hole-in-one print security event in Oman briefed the delegates about this crucial aspect of print security and helped the IT decision makers access their print security strategy though various demos and use cases. The HP Team, lead by Dia Hamdan, Marketing manager for UAE, Rome and East Africa, Sheriif El Atabany, Sales Manager; Obeyd Sidany, Country Sales Manager; Suhaib Mahmood, BDM; and Senthil Kumar, Print Technology Consultant put up involved the IT heads in interesting conversations around how planning security requires and end to end approach.
The event was followed by a golf clinic where the delegates were grouped in teams with golf experts for a few rounds of golf. The golf experts demonstrated various expert tips, tricks and tactics to secure the Hole in one— which was HP’s mantra for smart and secure printing.
